This honor is given to only the top 40 under 40 African American lawyers with reputations for providing excellent legal representation in their respective practice areas.

Maia's practice involves representing clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financing of multifamily and retail properties. Maia regularly reviews and prepares purchase and sale agreements and other transactional documents. Maia has experience reviewing commercial leases and analyzing title and survey matters. Additionally, Maia has experience with a variety of commercial real estate closings, including single asset and portfolio sales and acquisitions.
