Firm News

Burr and Forman is pleased to announce that Sarah Robertson, partner in Burr & Forman's Bluffton office, has been recognized on South Carolina Lawyers Weekly's Real Estate Power list. This well-deserved recognition highlights Sarah's exceptional expertise and contributions to the real estate industry.

"Sarah is an invaluable asset to our law firm, both as a skilled real estate attorney and a dependable law partner, to whom I often turn for guidance under both accounts," said Bhumi Patel, partner in the firm's Myrtle Beach office.

South Carolina Lawyers Weekly's Real Estate Power List showcases lawyers considered leaders in their field. Honorees are selected by looking at a range of criteria, including if they are well versed in relevant case law, statutes, and regulations; experienced, with a record of success in cases and transactions; a lawyer whom other lawyers respect and make referrals to; and a leader in the community, with a record of bar involvement and leadership.

"It is rewarding to be recognized by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly along with other great real estate lawyers in South Carolina," said Sarah Robertson.

Sarah is co-chair of Burr & Forman's Real Estate practice group and a Corporate and Tax practice group member. She handles residential and commercial real estate closings in the firm's Bluffton office. She represents real estate development clients with acquisition, sale, leasing, zoning, land use, and development matters, private placement offerings, federal and state land sales registration matters, development agreements, subdivision and condominium documentation, community covenants, easements, title, and sales contracts, property owners association matters, regulatory and licensing matters, and equity and non-equity club matters.
