Burr Adds Labor & Employment Litigation Partner in Mobile, Wilson Eaton

Firm News

Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce that J. Wilson Eaton III has joined the firm as a partner in the Mobile office. Eaton bolsters Burr & Forman's Labor and Employment practice in Alabama. He was previously with Butler, Snow, O'Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC in Gulfport, Miss. Eaton is the second attorney to join Burr & Forman's Mobile office since January; George Bronner was added to the firm's Corporate and Tax practice earlier this year.

"Wilson's arrival signals an increased ability for us to serve clients all along the Gulf Coast with labor and employment needs, and his excellent reputation as valued counsel makes him a great fit for our team," explained Edward Bowron, managing partner of Burr & Forman's Mobile office. "As Alabama gears up for the anticipated increase in economic development, we are expanding our presence and service offerings to meet the legal needs of new companies investing in the region. The addition of Wilson and George Bronner is reflective of that strategy, and we look forward to continued growth throughout 2013."

Eaton's practice includes traditional labor law, including representation campaigns, hearings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), collective bargaining, and labor arbitration; employment litigation, arbitration and mediation; and management counseling and training. Wilson also counsels clients in workplace safety issues and represents employers in matters involving the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Eaton earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University and his law degree from Emory University.
