Burr Expands Atlanta Corporate Practice with Chet Hosch

Chet comes to Burr with extensive experience serving clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and taxation.

"The addition of Chet, like so many of our other recent hires, has been to solidify our corporate and tax capabilities in Atlanta, particularly to serve locally-based Fortune 500 companies," said Erich Durlacher, managing partner of Burr's Atlanta office. "Including highly-experienced attorneys like Chet on our team allows us to better serve these high-caliber clients, especially as Atlanta continues to grow as a hub for major corporate headquarters."

Hosch represents clients involved in healthcare, manufacturing, and technology in various complex commercial transactions, securities matters, and financings. His legal background includes assisting clients in material acquisitions and divestitures in a variety of industries and corporate, operational and tax restructurings. He also has experience in supervising reporting with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), including federal and state securities registration and compliance.

Hosch made the transition to Burr after previously working as a partner at Schreeder, Wheeler & Flint LLP, also in Atlanta. Hosch's professional background also consists of being a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

He is involved in a number of professional organizations including the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association and the State Bars of Georgia and Texas. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Hosch received his law degree from Tulane University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University.
