Burr Named Again "Healthiest Employer" in Nashville for 2013 by Nashville Business Journal

Firm News

This is the second time the firm has been named the "Healthiest Employer" in its category, first time being in 2010, and the 4th consecutive year the firm has been listed as an honoree. Since the first wellness initiative was implemented at Burr & Forman in 2008, the firm has continued its commitment to healthy living through a variety of programs aimed at physical fitness, nutrition and reducing stress. Burr will be honored in today's edition of the Nashville Business Journal

"At Burr, healthy living and wellness is an integral part of our workforce," said Tom Potter, managing partner of the Nashville office. "We've learned that a healthy workforce fosters a more positive work environment internally while also increasing the quality of work we provide to our clients."

The firm's wellness initiatives include annual biometric health screenings, an online health coaching website, a smoking cessation program, and flu shots to its employees and spouses. To further support healthy living, Burr & Forman offers fruit for purchase in break rooms, cutting-edge fitness devices, and lunch-and-learn education programs with healthy meals.
