Burr & Forman announces that Mobile Partner, Doug Anderson, has been admitted as a fellow to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).

The American College of Real Estate Lawyers is the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers with admission by invitation only after a rigorous screening process. ACREL's distinguished, nationally-known lawyers have been elected to fellowship for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.

At Burr, Anderson serves as the Mobile Office Managing Partner and practices in the firm's Real Estate and Lending practice groups where he specializes in land use, zoning, and commercial lending. He has more than 30 years of experience handling all aspects of real estate law from contracts and boundary line disputes to complex commercial transactions. He represents developers, purchasers, owners, and lenders in both transactional and development matters. He previously served on the City of Mobile Planning Commission and is recognized as the leading expert in land use matters in Mobile. He has served as the attorney for the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment for the City of Mobile, as well as serves as general counsel to the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Mobile, Inc.
