Burr & Forman was recently honored at the Alabama State Bar Annual Meeting for its "Commitment to Diversity." The honor was given by the Bar’s Diversity of the Profession Committee as recognition of the firm's efforts in supporting Alabama State Bar’s diversity initiatives and programming. The Bar's Annual Meeting was held July 17-20th in Point Clear, AL at the Marriott Grand Hotel & Spa.

About the ASB’s Diversity of the Profession Committee:
The Committee shall: develop relationships internally and externally to increase educational and professional opportunities for women and minorities as well as use the resources of the American Bar Association, including a review of model diversity programs offered by other bar associations. The committee is also tasked with partnering with the Young Lawyers Section, the Women’s Section, the Alabama Lawyers Association, and local minority bar associations to promote diversity principles in law school admission.
