Burr & Forman Hires Lisa Arrington as Director of Human Resources

Birmingham, Ala. August 20, 2019 – Burr & Forman LLP announces that the firm has hired Lisa Arrington as the firm’s director of human resources. Arrington joins Burr’s leadership team with more than 20 years’ experience in the area of human resources in the legal industry.

In her role as director of human resources, Arrington will oversee all human resource strategies and processes across the firm’s eight state and 19 office footprint including employee relations and engagement, benefits and policies, staffing needs, employee intake, training, engagement and retention.

She will work with the firm’s executive team to evaluate and manage legal industry trends, human resource technology and strategic planning as the firm adds personnel. In her role, she will work closely with office administrators across the firm to provide support on day-to-day operations and employee management.  In addition, Arrington will serve and play an integral role on the firm’s diversity committee as the firm continues to implement and identify diversity initiatives and opportunities as it relates to recruiting and retention.

Arrington has her Professional Human Resource Certification (PHR) as well as is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and Society of Human Resources (SHRM). She is also a graduate of Momentum’s Executive Leadership Program and was recently named to Momentum’s board of directors, serving a three-year term. Arrington received her B.S. in accounting from the University of Alabama.
