Burr's John Browning Appointed as Executive Editor of a National Legal Publication

Mobile Partner John Browning will be the 2020-2021 Executive Editor of “The Brief”, a publication of American Bar Association’s Torts and Insurance Practice Section. In this role, John will have opportunities to work with other leaders around the country, participate in nationally recognized CLE programs, oversee the publication of peer articles regarding trends in civil litigation around the country, and plan activities that enhance professional development, ethics, diversity and public service in the profession.  The term will begin on the last day of the 2020 virtual ABA Annual Meeting. This leadership appointment recognizes John’s experience, commitment to TIPS, as well as his reputation across the 11,000 members of the TIPS section of the ABA.

John, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, is an experienced trial lawyer, having represented businesses and their insurers in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, and commercial losses arising out of motor vehicle accidents, engineering and construction defects, work site accidents, product defects, dram shop & social host liability, negligent security, environmental and public nuisance, and general premises liability.
