Burr’s Bill Penny Invited to Speak on Environmental and Conservation Zoning Requirements at the National Business Institute’s Seminar
On Wednesday, August 5th The National Business Institute will host their Land Use and Zoning: Working with Local Governments seminar. During the seminar, Nashville Partner Bill Penny will discuss environmental matters, alternative energy developments, land use issues, tax incentives, Brownfield Redevelopments, and stormwater runoff requirements.
Attendees in the webinar will consist of attorneys, planning and zoning administrators, city and urban planners, project managers, developers, engineers, architects, and paralegals. The seminar is designed to help those in the industry overcome real estate investment challenges. The course has been approved for 6 TN CLE credits, including 1 ethics credit. Bill is the chair of the firm’s Environmental Practice Group and has a wide range of experience in environmental law at the state and federal levels, including natural resource law, mining, remediation, negotiation with regulatory agencies in environmental matters, superfund litigation, RCRA matters, brownfield redevelopment, wetlands, water quality, radiological waste and compliance, and air pollution control. Bill also practices in the Real Estate Practice Group.
