Burr’s Marty Burke Appointed to the Board of the Federal Bar Association’s Federal Litigation Section
Tampa Partner Marty Burke has been named the Chair of the Federal Torts Committee in the Federal Litigation Section of the Federal Bar Association (FBA). The Federal Litigation Section provides its members with various networking and leadership opportunities, as well as continuing education opportunities. The Board serves to provide these benefits to its members by focusing on programming and continuing to work with FBA chapters throughout the country. As Chair of the Federal Torts Committee, Marty will work with the Board to provide support and information for programming and newsletters.
Marty regularly represents clients in high risk litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the country, both at the trial and appellate levels. He regularly represents businesses in bet-your-company litigation matters that have included manufacturers, waste management companies, banks, finance companies, trucking companies, freight brokers, homeowner and condominium associations, general contractors, and coal companies. Mr. Burke’s representations have ranged from consumer class actions to business disputes to serious personal injury and product liability matters.
