Burr & Forman Represents Brentwood Associates in its Initial Investment in Snooze

Firm News

December 21, 2020 – Burr & Forman LLP recently represented Brentwood Associates, a leading middle-market private equity investment firm, in acquiring a minor interest in Snooze, an innovative breakfast and lunch chain with 44 locations in six states.

The Denver-based restaurant chain is one of the leading concepts in the expanding market for breakfast-focused chains.  Brentwood’s investment is an indicator that investors are still confident in the restaurant industry, especially in those entities that have proven viable during a highly unusual year.

Rahul Aggarwal, a partner with Brentwood, will join Snooze’s board of directors. He called Snooze “a unique and compelling restaurant concept serving the attractive breakfast segment, and we are equally impressed with the company’s strong culture.”

Burr & Forman attorneys working on the matter were Ed Christian, Sims Rhyne, and JP Sauer.
