Atlanta Partner Chip Collins Appointed to the Sandy Springs Charter Commission

Burr’s Chip Collins has been appointed by Senator John Albers to the City of Sandy Springs Charter Commission. Chip is currently the chair of the Sandy Springs Development Authority and has previously served as a city council member. He is a past president of the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber and remains on the Board of that organization.

The Charter Commission is comprised of Sandy Springs residents who review the Charter and the City’s history and make recommendations to the Georgia General Assembly for any necessary changes. Individual appointments are made by the Mayor and City Council, as well as the members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Senate whose district lies wholly or partially within the corporate boundaries of Sandy Springs.

Chip is a seasoned litigator and community leader who helps clients successfully resolve multiple types of business disputes, including those involving noncompetes and trade secrets, contract breaches, and local government issues.
