Hanna Lahr is an associate in Burr & Forman LLP's Birmingham office and practices in the Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy group. Hanna's practice focuses on representing creditors and debtors, both in and out of court, to, among other things, enforce and/or restructure debt obligations, including through the bankruptcy process.

In bankruptcy matters, Hanna assists clients with, among other things, first day matters, debtor-in-possession financing, Section 363 sales, automatic stay issues, and claims resolution. Hanna has experience with the prosecution and defense of fraudulent transfer and preference avoidance actions under both federal and state law.

Hanna also assists clients with the collection and enforcement of secured debt obligations. Hanna has handled breach-of-contract litigation, receiverships, and counterclaim defense, and has also negotiated out-of-court workouts, including forbearance agreements, note sales, and collateral liquidation.
