Joshua is an Associate in the firm’s Maritime & Transportation practice group.
Joshua graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2018, receiving his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics. While at South Alabama, Joshua served as student body president. He earned his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served as the Alumni Coordinator and Staff Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. He also served as a business law fellow, as President of the Business Law Network, and was a founding member of the Latin Law Student Association.
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Joshua was a legal extern for both the Honorable Jeffrey U. Beaverstock in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, and the Honorable Katharine M. Samson in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Joshua has also been a legal department intern for a shipbuilding company. This role allowed him to participate in internal investigations and learn more about the industry, from labor and employment laws, to admiralty and maritime.
