Madeline E. Hughes

She regularly represents Class 1 and short-line railroads in cases involving the Federal Employers Liability Act, the Federal Railroad Safety Act, whistleblower claims, trespasser injuries, and other third-party injuries.

Additionally, Maddie represents heavy manufacturers and industry employers, litigating a variety of disputes involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, toxic exposure, property damage, products liability, premises liability, insurance coverage, and commercial motor vehicle accidents.

She is experienced in a wide range of commercial and business litigation issues in both state and federal courts. She regularly handles complex discovery matters and has experience drafting and arguing appeals on behalf of her clients before the Alabama Supreme Court and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
