Product Liability Personal Injury Mass Torts / Hazardous Substances Insurance Litigation & Coverage Appellate

Michelle is an associate in the firm’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) where her practice focuses on the representation of corporate and individual clients in complex civil litigation in the areas of product liability, personal injury, insurance claims, and insurance coverage matters. Michelle represents clients in state and federal courts, including the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as in commercial arbitration.

Michelle has handled product liability and warranty cases involving medical devices, HVAC equipment, power tools, construction accidents and home-building products.  She has experience handling toxic torts involving asbestos and silica. Additionally, Michelle provides general commercial litigation services for clients ranging from small businesses to large corporations, including manufacturers, distributors, construction companies and national financial institutions.  Michelle handles contract disputes, fraud and deceptive trade practices claims, non-compete litigation and shareholder actions.

Michelle also has a background in labor and employment law, defending manufacturing facilities, restaurant & hotel owners, security companies, trucking companies and other local and national businesses against claims arising under federal and state employment statutes.

Michelle is a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee and serves on the Recruiting Committee.
