Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy

Russell is an attorney in the Wilmington office* where he practices in the firm’s Creditor’s Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group.

Russell focuses his practice on the representation of creditors and corporate debtors in restructuring and in-court bankruptcy matters.  He has represented corporate debtors, unsecured creditors’ committees, and secured and unsecured lender groups in complex Chapter 11 cases before multiple courts.  He previously clerked for, consecutively, the Hon. Kevin J. Carey and the Hon. Laurie Selber Silverstein in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Russell received his Juris Doctor from the Cornell Law School, where he was a Managing Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.  Russell earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Speech from Northwestern University.
