Walker is an associate in the firm’s Tort, Trial, Insurance & Product Section (TIPS): Risk Mitigation and Complex Litigation practice section. He represents both insurers and policyholders in wide-ranging insurance coverage matters, and clients outside the insurance industry in complex litigation cases. Walker is also a member of the firm’s Cybersecurity and Antitrust teams.
Prior to joining Burr, Walker worked as an in-house attorney at a company operating in the construction industry. He leverages his background in construction contracting and dispute-resolution to assist clients with project litigation and contracting matters. This in-house role also exposed him to a broad array of regulatory, transactional, and compliance-oriented matters to compliment his litigation practice, and Walker continues to assist corporate clients develop and administer compliance programs in areas such as antitrust.
Walker graduated magna cum laude from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in 2016, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Cumberland Law Review. Before law school, he worked as an assistant editor at the Oxford American magazine (a Southern literary/music quarterly). In his spare time, Walker enjoys traveling with his wife, Laura, who is also an attorney.
