Walker is an associate in the firm’s Tort, Trial & Insurance practice section. His practice focuses on representing insurers in wide-ranging insurance litigation and coverage matters, as well as defending corporate clients outside the insurance industry in complex civil litigation, including personal injury claims, construction disputes, and product liability. Walker also has experience in non-compete litigation and various business disputes.
While Walker is a third-generation litigator, he began his legal career as an in-house attorney at a large, privately owned company operating in the construction industry. This role exposed Walker to a broad array of regulatory and transactional matters to compliment his current litigation-oriented practice, and afforded him unique insights into the needs, exigencies, and expectations of his corporate clients.
Walker graduated magna cum laude from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in 2016, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Cumberland Law Review and received “scholar of merit” awards in E-Discovery, Constitutional Law, and Administrative Law. Before law school, he worked as an associate editor at the Oxford American magazine (a Southern literary/music quarterly). In his spare time, Walker enjoys books, music, Atlanta Braves baseball, and traveling with his wife Laura, who is also an attorney.
