Derek Meek Selected to National Board of Trustees for the Turnaround Management Association

Meek will serve on the board to ensure the association's strategy and initiatives align with their interest in strengthening the economy through the restoration of corporate value. He will serve a two-year term effective January of 2014.

At Burr, Meek practices in the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation groups, where his clients represent a broad range of interested parties in and around the credit and restructuring space. His typical clients include secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, ad hoc and official committees, and individuals. In addition, he counsels equity owners, franchisors, factoring companies, Section 363 buyers, and others on issues related to bankruptcy, workout and restructuring.
