Burr & Forman Continues to Expand in Nashville with Three Attorneys

Firm News

Burr & Forman announces the continued expansion of its Nashville office with the addition of three attorneys: Alex Little, Emily Mack, and Zack Lawson. The trio previously practiced law at Bone McAllester Norton PLLC in Nashville.

“We’re thrilled to have Alex, Emily, and Zack join us. The group’s diverse experience strengthens our litigation and employment law capabilities while also allowing us to better serve clients who face government investigations or criminal charges,” said Nashville managing partner Tucker Herndon. “Their move is a testament to the growth of our downtown Nashville office. Within the last six months, Burr has added seven attorneys in Nashville, reinforcing our commitment to expanding not only locally but also regionally.”

Little will lead the firm’s new White Collar Criminal Defense team. He served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in Nashville and Washington, D.C. As a former federal prosecutor, Little draws on extensive trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts to aggressively represent clients facing investigations or defending against criminal charges. He concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, government investigations, criminal and civil appeals, victims' rights, and complex litigation.

Mack focuses her practice in the areas of labor and employment, education law, and complex litigation. She regularly represents public and private employers and educational institutions in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings. Drawing on her litigation background, Mack has considerable experience counseling businesses and individuals on a wide range of legal matters including workplace investigations, employee discipline, wage and hour issues, leaves of absence, and other labor and employment issues.

Lawson concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, government investigations, appeals, victims’ rights, and complex litigation. He represents clients facing a wide range of criminal charges in state and federal court. Zack also has experience representing individuals in professional and collegiate athletics.

Little joins as a partner in the General Commercial Litigation Group; Mack joins the firm as a partner in the Labor & Employment Practice Group; and Lawson joins as an associate in the General Commercial Litigation practice group.
