“Consumer Communications in a Fintech World," ACA International Convention, San Diego, CA
Rachel Friedman will speak on a panel on the topic of “Consumer Communications in a FinTech World” at ACA International’s July 2019 Convention & Expo. The presentation addresses recent case law and best practices compliance advice regarding cell phone calls and consent to autodialers, email, text messaging, and ringless drop messaging. The presentation will also address the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection’s 2019 Notice of Proposed Rule Making on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and its proposed treatment of e-mails, text messages, and social media communications under that statute.
