The United States is facing a crisis in the manufacturing industry. Manufacturers are struggling to find skilled workers, and according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics'June 2014 report, there are a staggering 312,000 manufacturing positions open in the U.S.

While the unemployment rate in the U.S. remains high, the manufacturing industry is scrambling to find qualified workers to fill open positions.
