In the article, Elmore Drew discusses her opinion on the ruling in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's (CFPB) investigation into the accreditation of for-profit colleges case. In April 2016, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia held that the CFPB did not have the authority to issue a civil investigative demand to the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACIC).
