Burr & Forman Adds Michelle McClafferty to Torts and Insurance Practice

Birmingham, Ala., Aug. 10, 2017 - Burr & Forman LLP announces the addition of Birmingham-based associate Michelle L. McClafferty to its Torts Trial and Insurance (TIPS) practice group, where she boosts the firm's defense of complex civil litigation matters across its Southeastern footprint.

McClafferty assists in the defense of negligence, breaches of contract and fraud claims. She also has experience in labor and employment law, defending manufacturing facilities, professional employer organizations, franchises and restaurant owners, hotel owners, and local and national businesses against claims under federal and state employment statues. Her practice focuses on the defense of corporate and individual clients involved in complex civil litigation, such as mass and toxic tort, product liability, insurance and personal injury claims.

McClafferty earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and her law degree from Boston College Law School.
