Burr & Forman Announces New Firm Leadership

Birmingham, Ala., March 28, 2018 - Burr & Forman announces the addition of four new members to its executive committee: Josh Ehrenfeld (Nashville, Tenn.), Joe Letzer (Birmingham, Ala.), Ty Roofner (Orlando, Fla.) and Ricardo Woods (Mobile, Ala.).

The firm's executive committee brings together leaders within the firm from various practice areas and office locations to represent the firm as a whole across its footprint. The four new members join fellow executive committee board members Lee Thuston (Chair), Ed Brown, Ed Christian, Erich Durlacher, April Mason, Derek Meek and Frank Springfield. The new committee additions brings the average age of the firm's executive committee below 50.

Ehrenfeld is a member of the firm's Corporate and Tax Practice Group with a focus on domestic and international taxation, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital, early-stage and start-up companies, private equity and corporate finance. He advises clients worldwide on a range of domestic and cross-border transactional and business-related issues.

Letzer is a partner in the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group focusing on complex commercial and franchise litigation, having tried cases and represented both plaintiffs and defendants in nineteen states. He has also represented clients in numerous administrative hearings and appellate courts nationwide, including before the United States Supreme Court.

Roofner practices in the Corporate & Tax Practice Group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, early-stage and start-up companies, private equity and corporate finance. He also represents lenders and borrowers in corporate finance transactions.

Woods practices in Burr and Forman's Torts and Insurance Practice Group with an emphasis on government liability, product and toxic tort liability, and insurance litigation. Woods is very active in the community, formerly serving as president of the 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile, Inc. as well as chairman of the Gulf Cost Young Professionals Summit.
