Burr & Forman's Kasee Heisterhagen Reappointed To Maritime Special Committee On Cybersecurity
Mobile, Ala., May 3, 2016 - Burr & Forman announces Mobile Associate Kasee Heisterhagen has been reappointed to serve on the Maritime Law Association's Special Committee on Cybersecurity.
This will be Kasee's second term on the committee, which begins May 2016 and runs through May 2017. After serving a one year term, committee members are evaluated and may be reappointed to serve again.
At Burr, Kasee's practice focuses on the areas of admiralty and maritime law, creditors' rights and bankruptcy, and insurance litigation. Kasee works with clients on issues of maritime liens and vessel seizures and has in-depth experience in the fields of marine finance and marine related bankruptcies. Kasee handles personal injury claims, including Jones Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, and works with clients on cargo matters, property damage, and regulatory and administrative issues.
