Birmingham, AL. - Burr & Forman LLP announces that Birmingham-based Counsel Ed Hardin has been appointed to the Board of Trustees for the American Board of Trial Advocates. Hardin was appointed by Richard H. Middleton Jr., President of the board. He will be representing the Alabama chapter in this role.

Hardin practices as Counsel in the firm's litigation section, focusing in the areas of complex commercial and torts litigation, health care litigation, insurance law and government investigations and enforcement. He brings more than four decades of litigation management and trial experience to Burr & Forman.

Hardin serves on The Woodrow Wilson Council and the Board of Trustees for Birmingham Southern College. Additionally, Hardin is a founding member of the Board of Directors for both the American Sports Medicine Institute and Children of Slain Police Officers. Hardin is recognized as a Diplomat and Life Fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has served as a member of its National Board.

Hardin received his undergraduate degree from Birmingham Southern College and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.
