Julie Anne Oliver Appointed to General Council of the Probate, Estate Planning & Trusts Council of the South Carolina Bar

Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Julie Anne Oliver, Myrtle Beach Counsel, has been selected to serve on the General Council for the Probate, Estate Planning & Trusts Council of the South Carolina Bar. This section of the SC Bar focuses on the revisions of the Uniform Probate Code and sponsors a CLE seminar at the Bar convention. They also help equip civic and community groups with speakers, motivate other members to become certified specialist, oversee state and federal legislative developments, and oversee unauthorized practice of law issues. 

Julie focuses her time on estate planning, probate administration, guardianships and conservatorships, business formation, tax planning, and consulting. She also has counseled clients in all areas of estate planning, including complex gift, generation skipping transfer tax, estate tax planning, lifetime giving and charitable planning, and prenuptial agreements.
