Burr & Forman announces that Mobile-based Partner, Kasee Heisterhagen has been named to Mobile Bay Magazine's "40 Under 40" list for 2017. This list recognizes the top 40 Mobile area professionals under the age of 40 who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence and a commitment to the Bay area community. Those honored are chosen by a panel of community and business leaders. Fellow Burr & Forman Partner John Browning was also honored in the 2016 list.

The 40 Under 40 were honored at the 9^th Annual 40 Under Forty Mobile Bay event held last month at The Steeple on St. Francis. Additionally, the 40 will be featured in Mobile Bay Magazine's January 2018 edition.

At Burr, Kasee practices in the areas of maritime law, creditors' rights, bankruptcy, and litigation. Kasee's work in the maritime field includes enforcement of maritime liens, vessel seizures, marine finance and marine-related bankruptcies. She regularly investigates marine casualties and claims. Locally, Kasee is very involved in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and has served on the "Man and Woman of the Year" Nominating Committee. She is also a former Past President of the Mobile Bar Association Young Lawyers Section.
