McNair's Intellectual Property Practice Continues to Grow with Addition of Tara Lay
McNair is pleased to announce Tara Lay has joined the Firm, growing the Intellectual Property Practice Group and the Charlotte office.
Lay joins the Firm as an associate and registered U.S. patent attorney. She has experience in securing patents and managing patent portfolios, drafting trademarks, and prosecuting both patent and trademark applications.
"Tara brings a wealth of knowledge on patent, copyright, and trademark law, and her addition furthers our commitment to become the Southeast's go-to IP boutique within a mid-size firm," said David Tigges, McNair's managing shareholder and chief executive officer.
Before joining McNair, Tara worked with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in Nashville and Borden Ladner Gervais in Calgary, Alberta. She is not admitted to practice in North Carolina.
