Stephen Price Named Burr's New Nashville Managing Partner

Nashville, Tenn., April 20, 2015 - Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce that Stephen H. Price has been named as the firm's Nashville office managing partner. Price, a partner in the Labor & Employment practice, will oversee the continued expansion in the firm's Nashville office, which has more than doubled in the first quarter this year. He will also lead the financial and operational functions of the 25-attorney office. Price, who served as the executive member of Stites & Harbison's Nashville office before joining Burr & Forman in January, takes the position following a six-year tenure by Thomas K. Potter III, who returns to full-time practice in the Commercial Litigation practice group.

Price serves in the firm's Labor and Employment and Commercial Litigation practice groups, counseling employers in all aspects of employee relations, including planning reductions in force, advising on employee terminations, preparing employee policies, drafting employment non-compete and confidentiality agreements, litigating non-compete and trade secret disputes, and defending against employment discrimination claims.

Price is also very active in the Nashville community, serving in both philanthropic and business-oriented organizations. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, as well as the Partnership Board of Nashville Downtown.

Price earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, and his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
