Overview
Mary Kate Gorham is a member of the firm’s Lending practice group.
Mary Kate has served as Law Clerk for Federal Judge Madeline Haikala and Federal Judge Corey Maze of the Northern District of Alabama. She had the opportunity to draft social security opinions while examining medical documents and research legal matters.
Mary Kate also served as a Summer Clerk for Regions Bank and worked closely with the in-house counsel for Corporate Governance and Consumer Banking teams.
Mary Kate obtained her Juris Doctor from Samford University, where she graduated cum laude. She was a member of the Cumberland Law Review, Women in Law and the Alabama Student Bar Association. She also served as a Research Assistant for the university. Prior to attending law school, Mary Kate obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
