“I practice at the intersection of business and law. Which is why, more than an attorney, I work to be a trusted business partner for my clients.”

Nafela serves as a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group where her practice centers around visa processing, human resources operations, employment counseling, union avoidance, unfair labor and representation practices, EEOC proceedings, employment litigation, non-compete litigation, union elections, and collective bargaining negotiations. Having never met a challenge she didn’t like, Nafela works to extend the value of her counsel to all employment aspects of her client’s business.

Nafela conducts transactional and litigation services for clients nationwide, including the creation of employee policies and procedures, enforcement of legal requirements, representation in response to actions filed with federal agencies, defense of litigation, and negotiation of Collective Bargaining Agreements with unions. Nafela prides herself on leveraging her business acumen, communication skills, and creativity to elevate the human side of the law.

Away from the office, Nafela enjoys raising her two young daughters, traveling, and trying new restaurants around Atlanta.
