Overview

Warren “Cole” Foster is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. Prior to law school, Cole founded and served as president of Oakwood Funding Group, where he gained years of experience in the financial services industry. His experience gives him a different perspective on client needs and issues. Cole has an interest in researching complexing legal issues including federal removal and jurisdictional situations, defendant’s duties and liability potential, defendant’s relevant affirmative defenses, and potential insurance coverage defenses. He also has experience drafting legal memoranda and litigation documents.

Warren obtained his Juris Doctor from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law where he graduated cum laude. During law school, Cole was a Research Assistant and Legal Research Analysis and Writing Tutor for Professor Ami Leventis. He also served as a Student Work’s Editor for Vol. 74 of the South Carolina Law Review. He was a member of the Dean’s List for four consecutive semesters and received the CALI Award for Drafting Business Agreements. Prior to law school, Cole received his M.S. in Marketing and his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
