“Doing the right things in the right order and sharing knowledge with clients at every turn is the only way to get them where they want to go.”

As a partner in the Greenville office, Weyman helps creditors resolve nonperforming commercial accounts, whether that resolution is found in a federal bankruptcy court, a South Carolina state court, or in an out-of-court workout. He works with clients in a wide range of industries, including financial institutions, supermarket portfolios, manufacturers, and consulting groups. His practice has been built on a variety of cases, allowing Weyman to work with many different people, and exposing him to a variety of perspectives. Weyman simplifies complex issues in order to reconstruct a strong case for his clients.

His client's needs drive his areas of practice. When local municipalities needed help understanding the treatment of tax claims in bankruptcy cases, Weyman's response was, "I can help." Prior to attending law school, Weyman served his community as a sheriff's deputy, where he gained experience working with people from many different backgrounds.

When he is away from the office, Weyman enjoys competitive shooting and cooking.

Weyman earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his B.A. from Wofford College.
