Overview

Whytni Cline is an Associate in the firm’s Lending Practice Group. Her work focuses on commercial real estate where she represents financial institutions in loan transactions covering a variety of industries, including construction, retail, multi-family, office and industrial. Whytni also has experience working on numerous financial transactions as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, lender’s counsel and local counsel for public and private issuances of taxable and tax-exempt municipal bonds for municipalities, universities and hospitals. In addition, she has experience serving as counsel for financial institutions, creditors and trustees in bankruptcy and creditor’s rights matters.

Whytni received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she served as the Senior Staff Editor of the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture and Natural Resource Law, as a member of the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court National Team, as a member of the UK Law Legal Clinic, as the Student Representative of the UK Law Admissions Committee and as the Vice President of the Women’s Law Caucus. Prior to law school, Whytni attended Concord University where she graduated summa cum laude, earning her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a double emphasis in Finance and Management. She was a four-year member of the Volleyball Team where served as team captain and was the President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

Whytni has continued playing volleyball after college and also enjoys reading, traveling, serving the community and spending time with her husband and young children.
