Previously working from Nashville for Carolinas-based McNair Law Firm, P.A., Lay was brought onboard as part of Burr & Forman's acquisition of the 84-attorney firm this month. The newly expanded firm provides clients with a dedicated team of legal professionals in the areas of economic development, government relations, intellectual property, cybersecurity, labor and employment, mergers and acquisitions, public finance, real estate, tax, and trust and estates. Lay is a registered U.S. patent attorney, and practices in the areas of patents, copyright and trademarks.
