Burr Forman McNair Expands Corporate and Tax Group in South Carolina
Burr Forman McNair announces the addition of associate Jennifer Leaphart, who joins the firm’s Corporate and Tax group where she will provide tax representation to individuals, corporations, limited liability companies, and general and limited partnerships. With experience in commercial real estate and family businesses, Leaphart counsels clients on federal, state and local tax issues as part of business planning.

Leaphart has experience with M&A transactions, financing transactions, partnership formations, and drafting U.S. tax disclosures for U.S. and foreign securities offerings. She also analyzes proposed structures for various transactions, including cross-border acquisitions, real estate investment trusts and qualified opportunity zone investments.
Leaphart is admitted in New York and South Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina Honors College and her law degree from Tulane University Law School.
