Wade is an associate in the Columbia office where he practices in the firm’s General Commercial Litigation group.
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Wade served as a law clerk for The Honorable Frank D. Whitney, United States District Court Judge for the Western District of North Carolina. As part of his clerkship, Wade was responsible for managing portions of both the civil and criminal docket, as well as advising and counseling the Judge on written and trial motions. Prior to his clerkship, Wade also interned with Judge Whitney as well as the Honorable Paul M. Newby of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
Prior to entering law school, Wade interned for The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., with the group’s Impact Teams & Policy Services section.
Wade received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law where he served as Executive Editor for the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology, participated in the Holderness Moot Court and presided as President of the Federalist Society. Wade received his Bachelors of Arts cum laude with honors in Political Science from Davidson College, where he played baseball as a walk-on student-athlete.
