Scott Miller Appointed to Heart of Florida United Way Board of Directors
Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Orlando Partner Scott Miller has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Heart of Florida United Way, an organization dedicated to improving lives and strengthening communities across Central Florida. His appointment reflects his ongoing dedication to civic engagement and his leadership within the legal and business communities.
Since its founding in 1939, Heart of Florida United Way has united people and organizations to drive meaningful change. The organization focuses on four priority areas, financial stability, education, health, and basic needs, working to create measurable results that support individuals and families throughout the region.
Scott is a partner in Burr & Forman’s Corporate and Tax practice group, where he advises clients on a broad range of estate and wealth preservation strategies, tax matters, and related disputes. His practice includes complex estate planning, business succession strategies, generation-skipping transfer tax planning, charitable giving, and life insurance planning. He also assists clients with all aspects of probate and trust administration, advising fiduciaries and representing beneficiaries throughout the process.
