Overview
Leesa is an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group.
Leesa represents a diverse set of clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes in several unique industries. She has extensive litigation experience in shareholder/member disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, financial services, landlord liability, and property disputes. Leesa specializes in complex litigation, including cases with high-volume E-Discovery. While at Burr, she has secured favorable results at both the motion to dismiss, summary judgment, and trial stages.
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Leesa obtained her J.D. from Mercer University where she graduated second in her class. She received the “Rusty Gunn” Award for her strength, intelligence, and good humor in leadership; the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing; and several CALI Excellence for the Future Awards. She also served as the Moot Court Chair for the Mercer Advocacy Council.
