April Mason Recognized Among Franchise Times’ 2026 “Legal Eagles”
Burr & Forman is proud to announce that Birmingham Office Managing Partner April Mason has been named to the 2026 class of “Legal Eagles” by Franchise Times. The annual list honors attorneys who demonstrate a strong command of both legal and business considerations, with a keen appreciation for the impact of each transaction, dispute, and strategic decision.
April is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Tax practice group, where she advises clients on a wide range of business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, corporate governance, franchising, and antitrust issues. She has extensive experience representing clients in acquisitions involving franchised brands and regularly counsels on franchise-related considerations throughout all stages of a transaction.
In addition, April advises both franchisors and franchisees on federal and state disclosure requirements, as well as state relationship laws governing dealer and franchise terminations. Her experience spans working with emerging franchisors launching new concepts to established brands, as well as navigating ongoing compliance and operational matters.
