Burr Congratulates Butting on New U.S. Headquarters and Production Facility in Alabama
Burr & Forman congratulates Butting, a global stainless steel pipe manufacturer, on its decision to establish its North American headquarters and first U.S. production facility in Baldwin County, Alabama. The company plans to invest approximately $61 million in a two-phase project that is expected to create up to 100 high-quality jobs.
This milestone investment marks a key step in Butting’s international growth strategy and will support operations across the U.S. market. The Alabama facility will serve as a central hub for manufacturing, logistics, and corporate functions.
Phase 1, expected to break ground in Fall 2025, will include the development of Butting’s North American headquarters, engineering operations, and the fabrication of stainless-steel spools, components, and cryogenic pipe systems. Phase 2 will expand production capabilities with the addition of two advanced stainless steel welded pipe mills and enhancements to the company’s cryogenic portfolio and fabrication operations.
Burr & Forman represented Butting in connection with the site selection and project development. The firm’s team includes Cheri Gatlin, John Lassiter, Warren Matthews, David Wanhatalo, and Natalie Cosmich.
