Burr & Forman Adds Counsel in Birmingham to Bolster Tort Trial & Insurance Practice
Birmingham, Ala. - Burr & Forman LLP announces the addition of Jackie H. Trimm as counsel in the firm's Birmingham office. She joins the Tort Trial & Insurance practice group, representing health care organizations in a wide range of matters related to compliance, claims and litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Trimm served as in-house counsel for Baptist Health System.

At Burr & Forman, Trimm counsels health care organizations on a wide range of legal matters, including regulatory compliance, internal review, contractual services, physician issues, hospital risk management and quality assurance. She also navigates through all phases of medical malpractice defense litigation, and advises on industry regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Emergency Medical Treatment & Labor Act (EMTALA), Medicare, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) compliance, Stark and Anti-Kickback Regulation.
She earned her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Alabama.
