Burr & Forman Adds Jackson Attorney Joshua Stover to Construction Practice

JACKSON, Miss., August 27, 2018 - Burr & Forman LLP announces the addition of Jackson-based associate Joshua Stover, who joins the firm's Construction Practice Group. In his practice, Stover will represent clients including general contractors, owners, subcontractors, developers, architects and engineers in complex construction cases in trial and arbitration.

"The addition of Joshua directly reflects the continued growth of our Construction practice in response to ever-increasing client needs in our region," said Cheri Gatlin, office managing partner of Burr & Forman's Jackson office. "Joshua's strong construction litigation and contract negotiation experience complements our current legal offerings and provides additional support for our clients."

In his practice, Stover represents clients in various stages of construction and legal malpractice litigation including drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery and settlement agreements. He regularly negotiates design professional and construction contracts on behalf of clients. Additionally, Stover has experience conducting depositions of suppliers and subcontractors on behalf of homeowners in design and construction defect cases.

Stover earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University and his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law.
