Burr & Forman Expands with the Addition of Four Attorneys Across Footprint
Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce the arrival of Jason G. Beckham, Judah L. Solomon, William C. Hoffman, Jr., and Jonathan H. Plott have joined the firm.

Jason G. Beckham joins the Atlanta office as Counsel in the Finance Lending and Banking Practice Group. His extensive experience bolsters the financial services team with a wide variety of matters, including payments/payment processing and fintech (i.e., structuring and negotiation of agent bank agreements, sponsor bank agreements, cardbrand agreements (i.e., Visa, MasterCard, Amex, etc.), ISO agreements, merchant and sub-merchant agreements, ACH matters, PCI-DSS matters, and risk assessments, public and private finance transactions, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures and spinoffs, and corporate governance matters. Jason's clients span a wide range of industries, including fintech (payments, SaaS, blockchain, and electronic transactions), banking & financial institutions, transportation & logistics, media, telecommunications, entertainment, IT services, wireless services, data centers, health care, and energy sectors.
Judah L. Solomon joins the Ft. Lauderdale office as Counsel in the firm’s Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. Judah works with a range of clients, including banks, lenders, and servicers on matters involving high-value assets, foreclosures, and general and commercial litigation. He has both civil and criminal trial experience in nearly every county in Florida and has served as lead counsel in thousands of trials.
William C. Hoffman, Jr., resident in the Birmingham office as an Associate, joins the firm’s Tort Trial, Insurance and Product Section (TIPS): Risk Mitigation and Complex Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on the defense of toxic tort, product liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation matters. Will has significant experience representing individuals and businesses both in and out of the courtroom. In addition to his litigation practice, Will advises businesses across the country on labor and employment and general corporate matters. He is admitted to practice in both Alabama and South Carolina.
Jonathan H. Plott joins the Birmingham office as an Associate in the Corporate and Tax Practice Group. He counsels a diverse set of clients from all industries. His practice is focused on private equity, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, debt and equity financing, and corporate governance. Jonathan also works with business owners to structure succession planning.
