Burr & Forman Relocates its Nashville Office to Enhance Work Environment and Expand for Anticipated Growth
Nashville, Tenn., Jan. 3, 2018 - Burr & Forman LLP announces the relocation of its Nashville office to accommodate the firm's expansion in Tennessee and provide a modern, enhanced work environment for its attorneys and staff. As the firm continues to broaden its footprint, a modern office space shunning the traditional "corner office" philosophy in favor of one-size offices, natural light and multi-purpose rooms that encourage collaboration was created in Nashville's SoBro district. The firm has 26 attorneys in Nashville with nearly 50 licensed to practice in Tennessee.
"With a growing client base in Tennessee, we saw a strategic opportunity to expand our office space and solidify a commitment to make a booming downtown Nashville our home," said Stephen Price, Burr & Forman's Nashville office managing partner. "This new office gives us a lot of momentum headed into the New Year as we continuously recruit talented attorneys who have a strong desire to work within a collaborative environment and serve as business partners to our clients."
The new 26,450-square-foot Nashville office touts universally sized offices for attorneys at every level - from new associates to senior partners, a light-filled café and multipurpose rooms that encourage synergistic meetings. Designed by ASD|SKY (asdsky.com), the office was created to translate Burr & Forman's culture and core values into the built environment.
"Burr & Forman sought to build a modern office space that encourages collaboration in a healthy, sustainable venue," said Michael Neiswander, principal at ASD|SKY, "From the one-sized offices to the open communal spaces perfect for socialization and informal meetings, Burr & Forman has created a best-in-class office that reflects its commitment to client and peer interactivity."
The new office is located at 222 Second Avenue South, Suite 2000, Nashville, TN 37201.
This news coincides with Burr & Forman's recent announcement that it is further expanding its Southeastern footprint by opening an office in Raleigh, N.C. led by partner Matthew W. Barnes, the new office is a direct response to client need for North Carolina counsel.
