Burr & Forman Supports Orlando Community Following Tragedy

Firm News

Orlando, Fla., June 24, 2016 - Burr & Forman announces its plan to give back and support the Central Florida community by contributing a total of $25,000 to three organizations following the Pulse nightclub tragedy on June 12. The donation will be designated to OneOrlando, Equality Florida, and The Center of Orlando, all of which support the victims and their families.

"We are deeply saddened at the horrific injuries and the senseless loss of life suffered by so many of our neighbors, friends, loved-ones and members of our community," said Eric Golden managing partner of Burr & Forman's Orlando office. "We offer our deepest condolences to the victims, their families and friends and our thoughts and prayers are with them and with all of the people affected by this tragedy whose lives have been changed forever."

OneOrlando is a project to strengthen Orlando and to provide a way to help respond to the needs of the Central Florida community after the Pulse tragedy. The purpose of the fund is to offer much needed support to the victims and their families.

Equality Florida, the state's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, is collecting contributions to fund victims' families, survivors, and those who may not have suffered physical injury but are in need of support.

The Center of Orlando is a fund working with other community agencies to support the people affected by the Pulse tragedy. All of the proceeds will be donated to victims and their families.
