Burr & Forman's Vivien Monaco Appointed to Urban Land Institute Council

November 16th, 2017 - Burr & Forman LLP announces that Orlando Counsel Vivien Monaco has been appointed to the Urban Land Institute's Florida Community and Housing Development Product Council. Vivien will serve a three-year term on the Council. She has been an active member of the ULI since 2014.

The Florida Product Councils (FPCs) are small groups of ULI members that commit to meet at least two times per year with fellow real estate professionals to share best practices, grow their network and discuss development practices that influence and change our communities. Council members meet for a day of full programming at the Annual ULI Florida Summit and at the ULI mid-year meeting. FPC meetings consist of guest speakers, sharing best practices, case studies, round table discussions, and site tours.

The Florida Community and Housing Development Council focuses on a number of areas: new communities; Urban/Suburban Residential (Single-Family, Multi-Use and Land Development); Single Family Rental Product; Rehab/Reuse; Asset Management; Process; Demographics and other demand factors.

At Burr & Forman, Vivien serves in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group with a focus on serving public and private real estate clients in areas related to environmental, land use, zoning, growth management law, and local government issues. This focus includes assisting clients with matters relating to transportation, impact fee, permitting, approvals, entitlement issues, and bid protests.
